PRESIDENT AND EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

Marleen Beaulieu is a business woman, compassionate individual and influential figure in Québec’s television industry.

President and Executive Producer at Attraction Images since January 2014, Marleen Beaulieu has a passion for the world of television that gives her gravitation pull to bring stakeholders together. Highly involved in the creation, management and production sectors, her exceptional know-how, practical sense and flair are invaluable assets when it comes to leading her troops in the fiction, documentary, variety and youth sectors as well as in the digital field.

Throughout her career, she has been instrumental in many of the hits produced by Québec television. Beginning her career as an Artistic Director and Editor for artistic magazines, she then quickly rose through the ranks to Creative Director and later Producer at Coscient, where, thanks to her, popular programs, including “Benezra” and “Flash,” saw the light of day. Following that, she moved to TVA, first as Director of Programming Productions and then as Managing Director and Vice-President of JPL Production. In 2002, giving free reign to her entrepreneurial side, she co-founded La Presse Télé, which she led as Executive Director for nine years before being appointed President in 2011.

Finalist for the 2015 Québec Business Women award, in the Manager, Director or Professional category (private company), Marleen Beaulieu holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Université du Québec à Montréal.
