LES RECRUES

Every year over 4,000 new recruits descend on the Canadian Forces Leadership and Recruit School in Saint-Jean-Sur-Richelieu. The school’s goal? To turn civilians into soldiers in only 12 weeks.

Les Recrues gives viewers exclusive access to the school and to the ranks of recruits whose military lives are just beginning. The series explores the day-to-day lives of six recruits doing their Basic Military Qualification. We follow them through their highs-and-lows, both mental and physical, in this strict but captivating universe. Some of our recruits will shine and reach unexpected heights, while others will crack under the pressure and quit. It’s an intense three months of transformation through mud and sweat, and tears. No one comes out unchanged.
