MDR is a humour-variety show filmed before a live audience and intended for youngsters from 12 to 15. Young people selected at random from that audience have to get up on stage and play non-speaking roles in bizarre, zany, crazy sketches. Their objective: not to laugh during the whole sketch. If they crack up, they die laughing…
Host Pascal Morrissette makes this a memorable experience for the studio guests, entertaining them between sketches with little turns of his own.
MDR: surprising presentations by actors, a guest artist who delivers a one-of-a-kind performance, and youngsters who pucker their lips and bite their cheeks in an attempt to do the impossible – not die laughing!
