NOS ÉTÉS traces the story of two families whose fortunes have been intertwined for 100 years over the course of the 20th century: the Desrochers, wealthy merchants from Montréal, and the Belziles, modest farmers from Cacouna, a village located on the shores of the Saint Lawrence River. The story turns on a key moment: the summer holidays of the bourgeois class. The series is set entirely during the summer, and chronicles one family’s vacations at Cap-sur-Mer. NOS ÉTÉS looks back on a particular period of Quebec’s history and in so doing sheds light on its present.
