Brimming with intrigue, secrets and emotion, TABOU tells the story of the Vandelac family, residents of Montréal’s Ahuntsic district. A few years earlier, this middle-class family, headed by a father who works as an electrician, was torn apart by the mother’s affair with a work colleague – since become a taboo subject that is poisoning family life for everyone. TABOU examines the emotional fall-out of a shocking and disturbing story which has resonance for us all.
