TEMPS DUR tells the story of a prisoner, also a husband and father, who desperately wants to return home to his family. Alain Bergeron, now serving hard time, is a career criminal whose very identity has been shaped by the criminal milieu. His journey home is filled with pitfalls and obstacles. TEMPS DUR also tells the story of a young detective’s determined investigation to solve the mystery around a crime committed against one of the penitentiary’s staff – the repercussions of which will be felt both within and outside the prison walls.
